As members of the AGS we are required to practice truth in advertising and truth in pricing. The American Gem Society continually works to increase consumer awareness by representing jewelers who are associated with the premier industry organization that is established on a specific business philosophy of consumer protection through education, professionalism and ethical practices.

The American Gem Society holds the pinnacle position among jewelers' organizations. With education, training and testing, a jewelry professional with Ben Bridge or another AGS affiliated firm, can earn one of the AGS's prestigious titles.

Each one of our AGS Registered Jeweler and AGS Certified Gemologist titleholders are tested annually by the American Gem Society and must be re-certified in order to maintain membership status.

This guarantees that all our titleholders-sales associates, managers, buyers and support personnel, are staying informed of current changes and are aware of new information occurring in the jewelry industry. They understand jewelry and manufacturing, they study gemstones and diamonds, and can explain enhancements to you and how subtle differences in many factors can change the value of a piece of jewelry.
