Tue, 08/24/2010 (All day) Dress Down Day for Horowitz Trading
Every Friday at the corporate office, associates have the opportunity to dress down for $3.00. Proceeds from the dress down benefit a variety of non-profit organizations. Any associate can sponsor an organization of their choice but the organization must be a certified non-profit. On January 11th the dress down benefited Horowitz Trading West, a shop located in lower Queen Anne where proceeds go to support the public schools in the community.

Our Parkway Plaza store in El Cajon, CA was pleased to help grant a wish, in conjunction with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to 8 year-old Darian.

Dear Ben Bridge Jewelers, We would like to thank your company for their generous donation of birthstone brochures for the girls and the beautiful Amethyst and Garnet bracelets for the Girl Scout Leaders at our event. Amelia Contreras – Manager and Melanie Richards – Personal Jeweler from the Ben Bridge Jewelry Store at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga came to our event as guest speakers. They spoke to the girls about careers in Jewelry and the education required.

Tue, 08/24/2010 (All day) LifeStream Blood Bank

Mark Kellner, of our Temecula, CA store, supports his local LifeStream Blood Bank which serves the San Bernardino and Riverside counties. He helped organized a blood drive in which 75-100 people donated. He also personally donated jewelry that was awarded to one lucky donor that day. Way to go, Mark!

Ben Bridge Participates in Seattle Works Day


On Saturday June 9, a seven member team from the corporate office participated in the 2007 Seattle Works Day.  Seattle Works is a non profit group that attempts to get working professionals in their 20’s and 30’s actively involved in the community through volunteer work, leadership trainings, and connecting with other community minded 20 and 30 something’s to learn about issues affecting the Seattle area.

Ben Bridge Jeweler is proud to support the arts. In 2009, we donated to ArtsFund, a non-profit organization committed to strengthening the arts in the Seattle region. ArtsFund donors support nearly 70 local arts groups so they can provide stimulating and enlightening arts for our community.

In 2008, a $5,000 donation was given to the American Heart Association by Ben Bridge Jeweler. The donated amount was a portion of the proceeds from the sale of our Toscano 18K gold and Murano glass heart pendant (shown below).
