Anchorage resident wins Ben Bridge $100,000 Wedding of the Century grand prize.
Seattle, Washington – March 2nd, 2012. Anchorage resident Jamie Newsom was announced as winner of the Ben Bridge Wedding of the Century Contest, sponsored by TAG Heuer fine timepieces and Forevermark diamonds. The announcement was made last night at 7pm at Ben Bridge Jeweler (Benson & New Seward Highway) by Marc Bridge and Lisa Bridge – fifth generation Bridge family members and officers of BEN BRIDGE, INC.
Newsom and her fiancé Tom Eatom entered the Ben Bridge Wedding of the Century contest on January 26th, 2012. She competed with nearly 10,000 other entrants to become a finalist. As winners of the contest, they will now plan their own "$100,000 Wedding of the Century" dream wedding.
To celebrate the retailer's 100th anniversary, Seattle-based Ben Bridge Jeweler ran the contest for engaged and soon-to-be engaged couples in the 11 states with Ben Bridge Jeweler store locations. They win a wedding-prize package valued at $100,000 from Ben Bridge; complete with wedding jewelry, cash to design their own dream wedding, and a South Africa honeymoon sponsored by Forevermark diamonds. One hundred finalists have already received prizes of fine jewelry from Ben Bridge.
