It's powered by Spring Drive, Grand Seiko’s unique caliber that combines the motive force of a mainspring with the high precision of a quartz watch. The silk sun-ray dial, which has multi-faceted hands and hour indexes, features a power reserve indicator by 8 o’clock, tracking the power reserve (72 hours) of the movement. Emblematic of Spring Drive, the second hand glides around the dial, reflecting the continuous flow of time itself. The decorated caliber can be enjoyed through the exhibition case back.
