We couldn't be more excited to announce the grand opening of our new flagship store in the heart of downtown Seattle. After 94 years in our previous location, we decided it was time to look toward the next 100 years and create a space in a new location that celebrates our commitment to our customers and community.
On June 8th, we hosted an exclusive event at our new location in the heart of downtown Seattle, across from the Nordstrom flagship store. Mayor Bruce Harrell and his wife Joanne were welcomed by Ben Bridge President and CEO Lisa Bridge. King County also sent a representative who delivered an official proclamation designating June 8, 2023 "Ben Bridge Jeweler Day."
With colorful flowers covering the pillars, our doors opened to stunning displays showcasing fine jewelry and the world’s most renowned luxury watch brands.
The remarkable store celebrates our heritage with a portrait of Sally Silverman Bridge, the wife of Ben Bridge and daughter of founder Sam Silverman, along with other historical images. The décor also pays homage to our Pacific Northwest roots by incorporating natural elements of stone, wood, geodes and even moss. Blown glass sculptures showcase the city’s signature art form. Every square foot of the new flagship store helps tell the story of our longstanding presence in Seattle combined with treasures sourced from all over the world.
Our theme for the evening was all about bringing the best from the world into our Seattle store. Guests were given passports and encouraged to visit stations that represented regions all over the world where our jewelry and timepieces originate. Our most noteworthy station was dedicated to Seattle and included a delightful display of oysters adorned with edible pearls. Guests were entertained by Razzvio, an artist with Seattle roots, who mesmerized the crowd with her beautiful electric performance on her Viper Violin.
Several generations of the Bridge family joined the festivities and mingled with guests to celebrate the next chapter of our story.
