The following are the warranties offered at Ben Bridge.
Diamond Upgrade and Limited Warranty
Our lifetime limited warranty is contingent upon inspection every six months. This limited warranty covers your diamond against accidental chipping or loss from its original setting and does not cover loss or damage other than that incurred in normal wear.
This bond will not replace insured coverage against loss or theft, but is supplemental to that coverage. Please, contact your insurance agent for proper coverage.
Bring your diamond in for free inspection and cleaning as often as you like (but at least every six months to keep your limited warranty current). Repairs to your mounting through normal wear or accidental damage will be done at this time for a nominal charge.
We offer a trade-in program for white diamonds purchased at Ben Bridge Jeweler. Colored diamonds such as black, brown, pink, etc. are not eligible for trade-in (disclaimer stated on receipt when purchased). For eligible trade-ins, you will be credited your full purchase price toward a diamond purchase selling for at least twice your original purchase price. Please see your local Ben Bridge for details.
Limited Watch Warranty and Power Cell Replacement
Our Limited Watch Warranty is given by Ben Bridge Jeweler, Inc. to the first purchaser or first gift recipient of a purchased watch. The time period of this warranty begins when the watch is purchased and lasts for three (3) years from the date of purchase.
Our warranty applies only to mechanical and analog quartz watches purchased at BEN BRIDGE JEWELER for $150.00 or more. We warrant that the purchased watch will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use, for three (3) years from the date the watch is purchased. Our warranty does not apply to or cover the stem, crown, crystal or wear to the case and bracelet, cord or strap, and does not protect against moisture or water damage if the model is not water resistant. Our warranty does not include damage or apply to defects which are caused, directly or indirectly, by misuse, abuse, negligence of the user, accident, repairs or alteration not made by us (including battery replacement), or tampering with or opening the watch. Our warranty is valid only if the original case, crystal, and crown remain intact, or if any prior work has been performed by the watch manufacturer (factory) or BEN BRIDGE.
OUR WARRANTY IS CONDITIONED ON THE WATCH AND YOUR WARRANTY PAPERWORK BEING BROUGHT INTO ANY BEN BRIDGE STORE, ONCE A YEAR – WITHIN 30 DAYS OF THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE PURCHASE DATE – FOR INSPECTION AND INITIALING OF YOUR WARRANTY PAPEWORK. THE CASE AND MOVEMENT WILL BE CHECKED, THE CASE AND BAND CLEANED AND THE BATTERY REPLACE (IF APPLICABLE)* AT NO CHARGE.
If you have properly adhered to the aforementioned conditions and have notified us of a defect prior to the expiration of the warranty period by bringing the watch into any BEN BRIDGE location, we shall inspect the watch and if a defect covered by the warranty is present, we shall repair the watch at no charge. We reserve the right to factory warranty any watch.
The time period of any implied warranties (including the implied warranty of merchantability) covering the watch is limited to three (3) years from the date the watch was purchased at retail. Some states do not allow limitation on how long the implied warranties last, so the above limitation may not apply to you. We shall in no event be liable for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of this watch. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
*Batteries (in applicable watches) will be replaced up to the 5TH ANNIVERSARY of purchase, providing the annual inspection and validation section of this warranty has been properly completed in a timely matter.
