IWC Portugieser Automatic 40 Salmon Dial Watch, 40.4mm
A clearly organized and open dial, with the characteristic minute’s scale and the small seconds at 6 o’clock; in the late 1930s, IWC’s Reference 325 established a classic design idiom that has run as a common thread through the history of the Portugieser family ever since. The Portugieser Automatic 40 presents this timelessly modern design in an easily wearable case diameter of 40 millimetres. This version features a stainless-steel case and rhodium-plated hands and appliqués. An eye-catching design detail is the salmon-coloured dial. Thanks to the reduced Portugieser design and the refined sunray finish, the color emerges particularly beautifully. Matching the dial is the black alligator leather strap, whose butterfly folding clasp ensures a high level of wearing comfort. The IWC-manufactured 82200 calibre powers this timepiece. This robust, high-quality automatic movement has a Pellaton winding system with components made of virtually non-wearing ceramic, which builds up a power reserve of 60 hours.
IWC provides a standard 2-year International Limited Warranty and extension of an additional 6-year coverage by registering your watch through 'My IWC' after your purchase, totaling to 8 years.

Give your watch a quick check on a regular basis, wiping down the face and bracelet with a soft cloth, checking the leather on a strap, and making sure that the strap or bracelet is firmly attached to the watch face. Also, while many watches are water resistant, few are truly waterproof, so if you find that moisture or dust has penetrated the case of your watch, bring it into your local Ben Bridge store where we can have one of our watchmakers clean it out for you.
Our best advice on watch maintenance is to never attempt do-it-yourself repairs, no matter how handy you are or how good the instructions are on Youtube. Watches are super complex little machines and only an expert watchmaker should be trusted to get a watch back into working condition. Attempts by an untrained repair person may seriously damage the watch and can even invalidate factory warranties.
In general, having your watch checked regularly by your Personal Jeweler or watchmaker and serviced according to the manufacturer's guidelines should keep it in excellent shape.
