For light, periodic cleaning, some warm water, dish soap and a soft cloth can be used to clean your gold jewelry. When tarnish and scratches develop over time, a professional cleaning and polishing can help bring your gold jewelry back to life and shining like new. Storing your jewelry well and keeping pieces separated will help maintain the glow of your gold jewelry.

We work with a select group of vendors from various regions in Italy who craft gold pieces exclusively for Ben Bridge. Every piece is crafted to honor the rich legacy and tradition of goldsmithing Italy is known for while embracing modern style and trends, all influenced by Italian culture and artistry.

The “k,” which is short for karat, is a measure of gold purity. Because pure gold is too soft for everyday wear, it is mixed with other metals to make jewelry more scratch resistant and durable for daily wear. 14k means a piece is 53.8% pure gold and 41.7 % metal alloys while 18k gold is 75% pure gold. Artisans also mix pure gold with other metals to influence the color, creating yellow, white or rose gold.

Absolutely. White and yellow gold jewelry have a distinctive and complimentary contrast. You’ll find some pieces crafted with a combination of white, yellow and even rose gold. Layering different gold colors together to suit your style is a beautiful way to highlight your creativity and unique sense of fashion.
